spring dots

went to ed wyse this week and ended up with nail polish!!!  this is a lovely shade of pink with a little purple hue

looks a little crappy around the cuticles right now, but I cleaned it up.  My middle finger has an ingrown nail, which makes it look gross

 I have had several people ask me if the nails are those skins that you press on, that made me feel pretty good :-)
they are lasting very nicely and I am trying to wait nicely to change the manicure~  but I got new colors at ed wyse and I got my julep maven box, new colors make me happy!

Saint Patrick's Day nails

Lili and I decided to do St. Paddy's nails last night so we went with Megan from Julep, which in my head was more green than it appears on the nail.  On the nail it is more teal with a deep green lean.  I added Oscar from Julep, which is a gold glitter, onto two accent nails.  Yes, I still like an accent nail.   I got both of these in my Julep Maven boxes, but separate ones.

 it leans a bit more teal than I thought it was going to, but it works for St. Paddy's day

Be still my heart

I did several valentine's day manicures but this is what ended up on my nails for the actual day.  I didn't take photos of the polish bottles so I honestly can't remember which red I used...BOO.
I know the white was snow me white and the black was a generic small bottle I got in a set of 12.  I also used the art pens in black and white for the dots.  I think it was OK, but am looking forward to next year when I am even better at making art on my nails.

Retro Polka (dots)

This week i have been in a reflective mood, so went retro colors with the nails...
Black base with dots of fly, snow me white, friday pink and sunny.  The fly and sunny  changed a bit of color with the black base.  I have gotten a ton of compliments on this manicure and really enjoyed how it turned out.
